Sunn Factory DH

Readers of issue 2 will have seen John Parkin’s report from the Sunn factory in France and some spy shots of their new DH rig.  Now, Sunn’s marketing manager Clement Bonneau has emailed Distilled to give us the lowdown on another tricked-out version of the bike.

– RockShox Vivid 5.1 rear shock with titanium spring.
– RockShox Boxxer fork with custom titanium internal specs and set up.
– Wheelset DT Swiss 240s hub, 5.1 rims and titanium spokes.
– Seat – seat post SDG.
– Control tech House carbone 710mm handlebar – Stem UN rad.
– Formula “ONE” silver polished 200mm brakes.
– Hutchinson Barracuda 2.3 tires.
– Wellgo mag titanium pedals.Weight : 15,5 Kg with pedals !!!Note this bike is not a showroom bike but the bike Simon will be riding all this season during the DH french cup. A huge work has been made on the suspension internal setting, on the custom modified MRP and on all the bolts/axles made in titanium especially for this bike.The frame itself is really unique with this really rare type of finish “Anodised Polished” which is awesome.
