Scott11 Update

From team manager Claudio Caluori:

Dear Friends
(deutsch weiter unten)

Just a quick note to let you know Floriane Pugin has won her first race for Scott11 in Brouilly on the weekend. 400 riders were keen to compete at the early french race, and Floriane took the win on her Scott Gambler. We’re currently building her new Voltage DH Prototype bike, which she will receive on thursday.

The rest of the team keeps on training and preparing untill we all meet again for the first IXS Swiss Cup on Monte Tamaro, 1./2. May 2010. Nick Beer is training intensely on his road bike in Italy, as his wrist doesn’t allow downhill training at this stage. Freddy Hunziker has teamed up with Claudio Caluori’s former trainer Bruno Diethelm, the man who helped Claudio to get into the worlds top ten. Aari Barrett was back on the Downhill Bike for a while, but had to
take another break, because of a broken collar bone. Nevertheless, he’s going to be in Switzerland on time for the season opener on Monte Tamaro.

Velosolutions has it’s new website, ready. It informs about all bikeparks involved and all Scott11 projects. We’re working on a new website for Scott11, it will be ready on time for the racing season.

Things are starting to get exciting as the race season gets closer. Stay tuned!
